Did you know?  This area of SC (Oconee County) has one of the densest concentrations of waterfalls in the United States. There are two reasons for this: an ample supply of water and a sudden change in elevation. The Blue Ridge escarpment provides the sudden change in elevation, separating the gentle rolling hills of the Piedmont and the more rugged terrain of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Most trails that traverse this narrow region change 2000 feet in elevation over a distance of 4 miles.   There are many shorter trails and most of these waterfalls are easy and short walks from public roads.  This is an outstanding hiking area for novice explorers, as well as the experienced.  The great rivers and lakes of the area, as well as nearby Clemson, Walhalla, Seneca, Cashiers, and Highlands, make this a great and memorable choice for any family vacation, with plenty to do- to find out more about the SC's Golden Corner, CLICK HERE.  At nearby Lake Jocassee, there is a great outdoor center, where you can rent boats very reasonably.  Here is the link:  Jocassee Outdoor Center .

USE OF THE FIREPLACE IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE PRICING.  FIREPLACE USE IS ONLY WITH SPECIAL PERMISSION AND THERE IS AN EXTRA CHARGE FOR USAGE AND CLEANING.  THERE IS ALSO AN EXTRA $200 IN SECURITY DEPOSIT, FOR FIREPLACE USE.

THE SALES TAX IS 10% AND IS ADDED TO THE ABOVE PRICE.

OFF SEASON MINIMUM IS GENERALLY 3 NIGHT MINIMUM-THANKSGIVING WEEK IS 4 NIGHT MINIMUM.  THERE IS A REFUNDABLE SECURITY DEPOSIT OF $300. 

THERE ARE NO RESERVATION FEES.  FOR WEEKLY GUESTS, LESSER OF 50% OF TOTAL AMOUNT OR $1000 DUE WITH CONTRACT AND BALANCE DUE 30 DAYS BEFORE THE FIRST DAY.
